Designer

Tétro is looking for a talented designer to join our team in a full-time, onsite, permanent role. (Not forever permanent, unless that’s your thing.)

The ideal candidate is confident, passionate, and driven to create meaningful, impactful work. You excel in collaboration but are equally comfortable leading your own projects. We’re drawn to strong portfolios that showcase both talent and creativity.

Developer

Tétro is seeking a web developer for a full-time, permanent position. Graphic design skills and experience would be a major asset. As part of our team, you will be involved in creating websites for some great clients, both local and national in scale, in a beautiful studio environment. We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, organized, and dedicated. You enjoy problem-solving, and are looking to learn and contribute.

Program languages required:

  • proficient in HTML, CSS, jQuery, and PHP
  • basic understanding of SCSS and MySQL would be an asset
  • knowledge in designing and development in a WordPress environment is required
  • experience designing for other CMS platforms would be an asset, but not necessary
  • basic understanding of using Advanced Custom Fields would be an asset

Skills and responsibilities:

  • strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
  • mobile-first design experience
  • ability to establish and implement a professional design standard
  • ability to develop and adhere to realistic project schedules
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to receive constructive feedback
  • efficient personal organization, time management, and prioritization skills
  • high level of proficiency in English

Qualifications:

  • three or more years of industry experience (agency experience a strong asset)
  • extensive experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • experience working with WordPress templates and HTML/CSS are an asset
  • graphic design education/experience not required, but is a strong asset
